Although movie fans don’t like remakes much, it’s different when it comes to fame remake fans. There is a reason for that with the advancement of technology, game developers are now able to remake some of the classics with updated graphics, improved gameplay mechanics, team play, and to catch new players while still providing nostalgia to longtime fans.
There are several video game remakes to look forward to, and some released recently, and they all have been launched with the best of improvements and changes. In this article, we will highlight some of the video game remakes to be excited about, and they might as well be in the upcoming pc games 2023 list.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
Final Fantasy VII initially was launched in 1997 and is one of the most loved role-playing games. Fast forward, to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth launching in 2023. It will be based on the original gameplay with narrative twists. Its characters are getting makeovers in terms of development, and a new combat system. The trailer was launched last year and fans should expect the game to be launched in November or December of 2023.
Resident Evil 4 Remake
Resident Evil is a survival horror game launched way back in 2005, and it’s releasing on all the gaming consoles and Windows platforms on March 24, 2023. It is a classic remake that sticks to its original theme of gore but with more stunning detail. Fans should expect to live Leon’s adventure that will bring new levels of beauty to the Resident Evil 4 Remake. As the game is launching on the latest consoles so there will be more controls and user-intuitive play. There is another resident evil sequel too that has been remastered.
Witcher 3 Remake
The Witcher 3 Remake is a sequel to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which was released in 2015. It is one of the best RPG open-world games to have come out in the past decade, and its remake will include new missions, collectable items, and armour. Although the remastered version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was launched in December 2022 but there’s still no official release date for the remake version.
Silent Hill 2 Remake
Silent Hill 2 is almost a decade old now but still one of the most famous survival horror games. The team behind the is giving Silent Hill 2 a fresh coat of paint. The geniuses behind Layers of Fear and The Medium may not have the best track record in terms of critical acclaim, but working with an established blueprint should bring better results. After the less-than-stellar HD port from 2012, it would be fantastic to see a properly modernised version of Silent Hill 2. Silent Hill 2’s release date is still unknown, although it will be a release exclusive for PC and PlayStation 5.
